This is a lovely art deco era jacket with a capelet back that is made of “cut”, “burnout” or “devoré” velvet. The velvet is designed in a floral pattern in tones of red, golden yellow, white, black, brown and orange. The piece has four loops at the upper opening, but the corresponding buttons are missing - you could use any buttons that you feel appropriate. This jacket probably originally had a matching dress or was meant to be paired with an appropriate dress - striking piece in any case.
